وحسب ‘‘ الباييس‘‘ سيستفيد المغرب من تصويت جيمع الاتحادات المنضوية تحت لواء الفيفا لأول مرة على اختيار الملف الذي سيحظى بشرف التنظيم، عوض الاكتفاء بأصوات اللجنة التنفيذية للفيفا كما كان معمولا به في السابق.
الصحيفة أشارت أيضا إلى أنه يتوقع أن يحصل المغرب على 54 صوتًا من الدول الأفريقية، كما أن المملكة ستستفيد بحسب نفس المصدر من عداء الكثير من الدول لسياسة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، خصوصا بعد قراره نقل سفارة أمريكا في إسرائيل إلى القدس.
